Now we know our prize for winning the cup. Here's the notification us Slytherins got on Friday 6th for winning the house cup.


Congratulations on winning the inaugural Pottermore House Cup. As part of your reward, you will be able to explore the first chapters of HARRY POTTER and the Chamber of Secrets before members of other houses. You will receive an owl message with more information shortly. House point totals have now been reset ahead of the next contest, but don't worry, you won't lose the house points you have won up to this point - they will be restored to your profile in due course.

Slytherins are waiting patiently for the house cup prize. Draco Malfoy is getting very annoyed with Pottermore for not getting anything. When we get the prize, i'll tell you because i'm in Slytherin.

Also, Slytherins are still in the lead after they won the house cup. I am very happy! 

Thank you to Slytherins to help us win, thank you to Gryffindor for making the fight to the top very, very challenging, thank you to Ravenclaw for being prepared to duel with us and special thanks to Hufflepuff for trying their best to win and not giving up and earning points all the way to the end.

The winner of the house cup is...Slytherin with 74,290,864 points! Gryffindor came 2nd with 74,069,919 points. Ravenclaw came 3rd with 71,815,917 points and Hufflepuff came last with only 62,596,368 points.
